Artists

Ryo Ohwada
Having attracted considerable attention in recent years for his "Wine Collection" series, Ohwada was awarded this year's newcomer award by the Photographic Society of Japan.

For his latest work, Ohwada focuses on bonsai plants, a miniature art form practiced in Japan since ancient times. These works take their compositional cues from Rinpa school painters such as Korin Ogata and Sotatsu Tawaraya.

Simultaneously held at B GALLERY and EMON PHOTO GALLERY with different works at each space.
