Masako Nakano "Flowers: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter"
This event has ended.
In 1998, Masako had her first big success when her painting “Morning Glory” won first prize in the Japan Art Institute Exhibition (In-Ten Exhibition). Among her numerous art work, she gained popularity for her flower motif paintings. Masako is intrigued by flowers that repeat the cycle of blooming and withering, withering and blooming. She captures the short moment of flowers looming to their fullest, and portrays the preciousness of their life and their reproductive strength. Her work based on this concept has brought attention and won popularity among many, especially working women.
