The International Picture Book Illustration Exhibition held in Bologna, Italy is the world's largest fair of its kind. This year saw submissions from 2836 illustrators from 58 countries, and 76 artists from 20 countries - out of which 19 Japanese illustrators - were selected for inclusion. On display at this exhibition are the selected works, as well as a special section showcasing the work of young Italian illustrator Philip Giordano.
