Oshu City in Iwate Prefecture was one of the areas that escaped relatively unscathed in the recent earthquake and tsunami, with many households going about their normal lives. This exhibition showcases a number of paintings and pages from local newspapers that offer viewers a glimpse of "everyday" life in Iwate three months after the disaster through the lenses of both art and the mass media.
