This group show features sculptures from gallery artists and others, as a follow-up to the February exhibition "Visions/Recollections", which focused on 2D work.
In Japan the concept of "sculpture" entered the culture after the Meiji era, marking the start of a new form of expression different to the Buddhist and religious sculptures that had existed up till that point.
