Australian artist Courtney Coombs will hold her first solo exhibition in Japan. Her conceptual art is deceivingly simple; her use of particular materials, such as household items, is heavily surrounded by her loving references to 20th century conceptual masters and theorists. "Wish You Were Here" will explore the gallery space itself as a medium, and present works about the artist's potential to achieve intimacy with public spaces.
