This special lecture will examine the relationship between contemporary art and global politics and culture through the lens of the current Arab Express exhibition, on view at the Mori Art Museum. Kenichi Kondo, associate curator at the Mori, will discuss common issues between the current Arab situation and the uncertainties at home in the wake of the recent 2011 earthquake in Japan.
