Takanori Oguiss
Takanori Oguiss (1901-1986) was a Japanese painter who spent most of his life in Paris. Throughout his entire career, Oguiss chose the city of Paris and other historical cities in Europe as his main subjects. Every little street corner of Paris captured in his paintings is filled with a sense of peace and tranquility and has a unique charm. During his lifetime, the name of “Oguiss” came to be recognized in the international art world, and his works are much appreciated by Japanese, as well as, European collectors.
