Shimon Minamikawa
Shimon Minamikawa is known for his paintings that incorporate text, stripes and polka dots onto a single surface, along with human figures and still lifes. This exhibition focuses on his paintings while also introducing viewers to the creative process and ideas that underline his work. Minamikawa's painting-installation explores the boundaries and demarcations particular to painting and the ways in which it seems to jut or spill out of them.
