Featuring some 250 exhibits of famous ukiyoe painter Kuniyoshi's work, nihonga, oil paintings, prints, books and more from the late Edo to the early Showa periods. Kuniyoshi is known for his wide creative output, including so-called "Bijinga" (pictures of beauty women) and portraits of Kabuki actors, as well as caricatures and satires. Many innovative later artists were also inspired by his style and carried on his spirit in their own art.
