The Metropolitan Museum of Art (nicknamed the Met) is one of the finest and most encyclopedic art museums in the world. To demonstrate the range of its collection, the Met has selected works in many media from the ancient world through modern Europe and America for presentation in Japan, where they will be seen only in Tokyo.
