Eisen Keisai
Eisen Keisai (1791-1848) was a ukiyo-e printmaker active during the end of the Tokugawa shogunate era, when Edo culture was at its zenith. He specialized in works depicting beautiful women and landscapes, and indigo prints known as ai-zuri. This exhibition focuses on some 350 works that trace the arc of his career.
