"Elegance of Silence" is the landscape of cosmos of the heart drawn by a up-and-coming artist, Kiiro. Unlike the scenery that we know about flowers that has a pretty image, it is filled with unpredictability. The origin of the title is a quote of a verse "If it is hidden, it is a flower; if it's not hidden, it is not the Flower" of "Fushikaden", a Japanese classic aesthetic by Zeami, a Noh author of Japan. Although "Elegance of Silence" has many interpretations, it is a way of expanding the expression in a mindset of Noh by only showing a little and applying the wings of imagination of people.
Like Noh, where 100 different stories by 100 different people are born by the imagination of the viewer, the interpretation of the works done by Kiiro would certainly vary. His newest work "Elegance of Silence" is interesting in a way even to change the perception of our familiar flower, cosmos;. Thus, the charm of Kiiro's works, a quiet flow in an adventurous mind. Also his ever changing approaching the conviction glimpses his individuality as an contemporary artist by using the photomontage technique and inheriting the genes of Japanese classic aesthetics. The colors that reminds the composition of a folding screen, hanging scroll, and watch fire are armed with a classic essence that is far from a cosmos. However, the true reason behind more than just creating the image of the surface could be to express the mystery of a life force and the Cosmos-like never ending expansion. Delicate and pretty, yet the might to get up after being knocked down by a wind. Kiiro picks out the infinite hope and possibilities in this flower, and face the cosmos today by projecting himself.
