"Kimono Beauty" Exhibition

This exhibition focuses on Japanese kimonos from the mid-Edo to early Showa periods, as well as a showcase of sashes, hair ornaments and other accessories. The selection, including items from the important collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, will explore the feminine beauty of this classic Japanese garment, much loved and acclaimed abroad. (On 1/21 there will be a major changeover in the exhibits.)
