Organized by the Japan Foundation, this symposium commemorates the groundbreaking exhibition "Tokyo 1955-1970: A New Avant-Garde" currently on view at the MoMA in New York, attempting to find new perspectives on postwar Japanese art. Panelists: Doryun Chong, Gabriel Ritter, Katsuo Suzuki, Michio Hayashi, Yuji Maeyama.
