Print artist Shiko Munakata was born in Aomori and is known for his work that overflows in vitality. His prints possess a surprising creativity displaying an innocent spirit, born out of the rich natural environment of Tohoku. This exhibition features prints full of Munakata's prayers for his homeland, as well as many Tohoku region crafts made with the dexterously craftsmanship out of the down-to-earth lifestyle there.
