Akichika Hamano
Akichika Hamano (1926-) was a pioneering illustrator from the golden postwar era. His monochrome world, informed by his sensitivity and deep powers of observation, exposed the true nature of the human race and left a deep impression on the world of novels that he worked in. This exhibition showcases some 400 works, focusing on illustrations, drawings and acrylic paintings.
