Toeko Tatsuno, Toshio Shibata
One of Japan's leading contemporary abstract painters, Toeko Tatsuno (born 1950) creates vibrantly colored canvases filled with emotional. Toshio Shibata (born 1949) is an internationally acclaimed photographer whose black-and-white works depict manmade structures and civil engineering projects in the countryside. Both were classmates in the oil painting department at the Tokyo University of the Arts.
