Sarah Fujiwara
Sarah Fujiwara is a photographer who has been based in France since 2000. This is her first exhibition in Tokyo, featuring works from her latest series entitled Neuma, which refers to a symbol used to notate music scores from medieval times. The term is an apt metaphor for Fujiwara's approach, which consists of paring away redundant information and turning events and objects into symbols.
