This event has ended.

Block printing exploded in Germany in the first half of the sixteenth century, with numerous talented engravers creating small ("klein") prints the size of postcards or even large stamps. These masters ("meister") became known as Kleinmeister craftsmen.

This exhibition introduces visitors to prints by the Kleinmeister group, selected from the Museum collection, as well as work by painter, engraver and architect Albrecht Altdorfer, who had a great influence on them.
