"Parade of Animals" Exhibition

This exhibition is inspired by the animals that have been depicted in Japanese art since ancient times, as symbols and objects of fear, worship, affection and curiosity. On display are over 200 works by Edo era masters like Sotatsu Tawaraya, Utamaro Kitagawa and Hokusai Katsushika, and modern printmakers like Hiroshi Yoshida and Shiko Munakata.
