Japanese "idol culture" is said to have emerged in the 1970s. Since then, this unique phenomenon has evolved with a close relationship to the culture of the time. This exhibition examines contemporary Japanese media, video and film technology, and changes in communication through the lens of "idols" (popular song and dance performers).
