For this project, Kawamata returns to a style of working that links the interior and exterior of buildings, an approach that features prominently in his early works. He will make use of a large volume of wooden construction materials taken from an apartment block in the vicinity of BankART originally built by the Urban Renaissance Agency that is slated to be demolished.
