Kenji Shibata "Ankoku: Vision as the Darkness"

Taguchi Fine Art
Finished

Artists

Kenji Shibata
The title of this show is taken from a poem by Daisuke Fujiwara who is a close friend of Shibata.
Good artwork always has something which the viewer cannot completely understand. However, this mysterious quality can only make the work attractive since it requires more concentration and more seriousness from viewers. This situation, which Fujiwara calls "ankoku", trains our vision to be keen and sensitive.
