Open Studio— Notes On Transformation
ARCUS Studio
This event has ended.
The Arcus Project is looking forward its 20th anniversary next year. Since 1994, it has invited and supported 88 artists from 27 countries and regions. Over time, the traces left by former resident artists have become part of the community’s character and local scene.
Participating in this year’s Artist-in-Residence program are Rodrigo Gonzalez Castillo, Sybille Neumeyer, and Nandesha Shanthi Prakash, who have been developing their works at Arcus Studio. The 100 days spent in the residency program has been a special time in their careers as artists, shaped by extraordinary opportunities and experiences in Moriya, Ibaraki. The Open Studio is a special occasion to see the creative processes and to share the resident artists’ achievements, experiences, and impressions during these 100 days.
Please see the official website for details and reservations.
