Taiji Matsue
On display “TYO 101354,” Taiji Matsue’s latest image series taken since 2010. These works have been called “moving photographs,” as they initially appear to be still but when looked at more closely a reveal themselves to be eye-catching moving images with changing details. Working both as photographs and film, they question the boundaries between the two media, presenting new surprises in the act of viewing.
