Evolving from a design exhibition to a design festival, Tokyo Designers Week brings creators together in Tokyo. It welcomes not only those active in the art and fields, but also hopes to offer new exciting experiences for adults and children alike.

In addition to the annual exhibitors’ tents and containers, this year’s festival features the new “Asia Awards” for creators from countries including Japan, Israel, Turkey, India, China, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines, across divisions of “professional,” “young creators,” and “student designs”. Furthermore, the “Rough” exhibition will showcase the “rough sketches” of ideas by more than 50 groups of designers working in various genres including product design, interior design, architecture, graphic design, photography, and fashion, shedding light on their creative processes. Pavilions by Spain and the British Embassy make this year’s Designers Week even more international than usual.
