An exhibition formed through the discussion between 11 artists, investigating the distance between “I” and other people, things and phenomenon. In the age when Facebook and Twitter become increasingly universal and we are able to share in events occurring throughout the world and the personal experiences of friends and family who live in other regions, we come to encounter and discuss these things as third parties. We move from a world of unidirectional information collection, to a multi-directional world of information sharing. We are in an era when we know longer feel the bounds of the human body. However at the same time we have to question if the information we receive is really true and realize that the information we ourselves transmit may also be false. Just as the body becomes confused by jet-lag we are perhaps experiencing a distance-lag as we try to reduce the gap between our ability to gather information and our ability to judge what may be true or false.
