4 years since her last solo exhibition “Wanderer” here Rieko Fujinami presents a range of work including painting, video and installation based on the subject of the “birth of conciousness” exploring the space between the mind and the body, consciousness and the the unconscious. This exhibition includes works from the “Black rain Black water” series depicting human suffering, “id” a series portraits born from her latent consciousness as well as a recent investigation of the medium of the moving image in the work “Arbor Vitae”.
