This event has ended.

Presenting a group exhibition of contemporary French artists with work centering on notions of “theft”.

Where do we draw the line between reference and copying in art? Even in France this is a delicate issue and this exhibition heightens debate upon this topic wit a range of drawings, paintings, photographs, videos and performances from artists who have instilled reference, homage and parody in their work. While all of the artists featured here are active internationally for a number it is their first time to present their work in Japan, yet there is little doubt that their work will steal the hearts of the viewers.

Artists: Alain Declercq, Arnaud Cohen, Carlitos Zanahoria, Cathy Burghi, Cendrillon Bélanger, Juliette Lemontey, Léa Le Bricomte, Lydie Jean Dit Pannel, Mihai Grecu, Pascal Lièvre, Sarah Trouche, Soukaina Joual, Tom de Pekin
