Nakako Hayashi’s publication “Exanding Fashion” questions the definition of fashion in a world pervaded by computers and the internet and features a range of creators who are attempting to construct a new discourse around the currency of fashion. This exhibition builds upon the concept of this book and updates it to the present day, revealing a new tide of fashion from photographers and contemporary artists and fashion designers active across Japan, US, Germany and France, through exhibition, workshops and fashion shows.
