Moon Viewing 2013

Six meters in diameter, the Geo-Cosmos is made up of 10,362 organic EL panels. It projects data about the moon’s surface received from the lunar orbital satellite “Kaguya.” The Miraikan invites you to experience “moon viewing” during the day. Five-minute presentations will be held on the hour and at 25 minutes past every hour.

Moon Tour: Dark Side of the Moon
A lunar expert will give a guided tour around Geo-Cosmos while discussing the sides of the moon visible and invisible from earth.
Dates: Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays 12:00-12:15
Venue: Oval Bridge
Participants: 20 each session
