Taking the district of Okusawa, Setagaya Ward, where Saburo Miyamoto once lived, as its starting point Miyamoto Saburo Memorial Museum celebrates the richness in artistic personalities who have also lived in this area. With artists such as Taro Okamoto, Genichiro Inokuma, nihonga master Yasuo Ueno, sculptors Seiko Sawada and Kakuzo Tatehata and conceptualists Koji Enokura and On Kawara this exhibition provides a wide snap shot of artistic expression spanning from pre-war to present times.
