Placing a spotlight on the relation between Ei-Q and Shuzo Takiguchi, who although renowned as an art critic and poet also produced his own décalcomanie like art works. In 1954 Takiguchi’s poems were published along with a series of print illustrations under the title of “Sphinx”, with contributions from Ei-Q, Tamiji Kitagawa and Shigeru Izumi, amongst other artists, with design and layout by Ryuichi Yamashiro. This exhibition features oil paintings, watercolors and print works by Ei-Q, along with the cataogue collection “Sphinx”.
