Photography made it possible to take another look at events that have already happened. This unique characteristic is so self-evident that viewers are rarely conscious of it, but it plays a key role for a variety of photographers and their work. This exhibition features 140 works by 6 artists ranging from the anonymous photographers and craftsmen of over a century ago to contemporary names such as Nobuyoshi Araki, Taiji Matsue, Yuki Kimura, and Noguchi Rika. It explores the theme of “re-encounters” through photography in a variety of dimensions.
