The momentary rising then fading landscapes of the mind. Even the familiar landscapes of the everyday may in one moment come to be seen in a completely different light. In this way Miei Sato captures the urban scenes of her local Kobe neighborhood exacting an image of color and vitality far removed from the reality. Even within the everyday there is a breath of the extraordinary and this exhibition confronts the viewer with these doubts and possibilities.
