Although having enjoyed particular popularity within the art market of the 1980’s in recent times the market has cooled towards printmaking work, despite its continued development. In order to raise greater awareness towards the power of printmaking the Artcomplex Center of Tokyo hosts a printmaking summit, gathering artists and printmaking studios from all fields of the genre, including silkscreen printing, lithography, giclee, copper-plate and wooden printmaking.
