Artists

Keiji Izumi
Keiji Izumi creates delicate wooden sculptural figures filled with a particular humor. In addition to his work being part of the collection of the National Museum of Art, Osaka, he has also gained much popularity in international art fairs, with his sculptural work of figures and landscapes reaching wide acclaim. In recent work he has sought to renew his approach and challenge towards a scale which appears to absorb the world around it, this exhibition presents a range of work which attempts a self questioning and an investigation of how people and things come into being.
