30 select examples of the work of freelance “special” photographer Bob Willoughby(1927-2009), who photographed countless Hollywood films with actors such as Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Jean Seberg and Sophia Loren. This pioneering independent photographer was an associate of “Life” and “Look” and the large film production companies, began his career during the golden age of Hollywood film in the 1950s. This exhibition reflects on his phenomenal career and his technical innovations which have earned him major retrospectives at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Lucie Award.
