Yuri Nonaka

Marking the donation by the artist of a range of work to the museum last year, this exhibition presents over 120 works from the oeuvre of Yuri Nonaka, including that featured in her solo exhibition at the same venue in 2002. Well known for her dreamlike style, Yuri Nonaka (1938) has built a career spanning from the 1950’s with copper etching and collage techniques which create delicate world of particular depth. This exhibition gives the opportunity to step inside that world with a range of prints, collages and bound books.

14 minute walk from the East exit of Kamakura Station on the JR Yokosuka line or Enoshima Electric Railway; From the East exit of Kamakura Station, take the Enoden bus and get off at Hachimangu-ura. The venue is 2 minute walk from there.
