Enami Nara
The works of Enami Nara take fragments of scenes and actions, to create images as if created from the multilayering of prints. Her style finds its quintessential expression in the series “Fight”, in which two people struggle against each other, while works such as “Audience” and “Cemetery”, with their images of people and gravestones, also reflect her prominent line, which at times comes to overpower the original image.
In this exhibition she presents the new series “Conversation Piece” of which they artist herself comments “I have collected scenes in the daily life of a family, in a kind of diary, drawing the intimacy within one family”.
