Yukihisa Isobe
This August a touring exhibition organized by the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo marks the first solo exhibition of avant garde pioneer and environmental planner, Yukihisa Isobe, in Japan in the last 6 years, and provides an overview of his early work from the 1960’s including his renowned badge works, as well as new large scale work grappling with issues of the environment.

At Art Front Gallery to coincide with this exhibition a selection of unseen print works as well as well known badge works from the 1960’s are showcased in an opportunity to reassess the artistic output of this unique figure.
