France is known as the animation center of Europe and its animation output is 3rd only to the US and Japan, with the industry seeing a rise from 100,000 members to 2 million members over the last 10 years. In order to celebrate the rich animation culture of France the “Yokohama France Animation Festival” has been running as part of the “Yokohama - France Month” since 2008 and this year welcomes the festival to Tokyo too. This is an event which may be enjoyed by anime fans, French film lovers and people of all ages.
