The Projected Image Laboratory film artist Daisuke Yamashiro presents new works in his first solo show in three years. The exhibition is centered on the video installation “The Mirror Stage,” set at the six-meter tall, 260 sq. meter-wide Asahi Art Square. “Videre” means “to watch” in Latin. The exhibition also features sound, lighting, visual effects, and other collaborations with songwriter Taro Yasuno and musician Shuta Hasunuma, as well talks as part of The Projected Image Laboratory’s “Conversations With Images” series.
