Picasso: Love and Art in Prints

Parco Museum Tokyo
Finished

Artists

Pablo Picasso
Any discussion of the works of Pablo Picasso, the great 20th Century Spanish painter, would be incomplete without mention of his romance with women. The women Picasso met and fell in love with imbued his work with a sense of happiness while at the same time evoking human feelings of ugliness, discord, and envy. This exhibition presents around 60 works from his lifetime oeuvre of around 2,000 prints, exploring the theme of “men and women” with a focus on female portraits.
