As an associated event of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo’S exhibition “Bunny Smash” Tokyo University of the Arts presents the exhibition “Sense of Wonder - A New Encounter with Commonplace Materials”. This exhibition takes the familiar, often over looked materials of iron, wood, glass, plastic, paper, cotton, concrete and water and opens up their possibilities, pointing towards the importance for creatives of all art and design fields to carefully consider material in their work. Here staff and students of Tokyo University of the Arts present a collection of work which offers up surprise and new discovery in a stimulation of imagination and curiosity.
