Street art and graffiti, which have ties to activism and social messages as well as hip hop culture and self expression, can be found around the globe. Latin America is said to currently be producing some of the most revolutionary street art in the world. This talk by Michiko Akiba, a researcher at the Art & Society Research Center, introduces works from the Columbian capital of Bogota.
