This event has ended.

Yokosuka flourished as a naval port, but photography of the town was prohibited until the end of World War II. Since then it has been an important motif in photography and art. This exhibition of around 180 works by 15 photographers and artists depicts the streets and people of post-war Yokosuku and examines the intersection of photography and modern art. Also featuring pre-war postcards and other documents, this glimpse of Yokosuka’s past could offer insights into its future.
