Internationally renowned sound art pioneer Akio Suzuki joins forces with dancer/visual artist Hiromi Miyakita in a “staring contest” between sound and the body. With the unique subtleties of Suzuki’s sound performance and the limber moves of Miyakita, their varying expressions come to merge and collide in a tense live performance in which each continually responds to the other. Here two performances will take place, one inside at the lecture room of Azamino, followed by another in the open air at Saishoji Temple.
