Shintaro Miyake
Employing a range of expressions to create his individual artistic world, Miyake’s practice includes picture-scroll-like drawings on horizontal screens in which characters enact a variety of scenes, as well as ‘live drawing’ performances wearing originally-designed costumes which embody him as the very characters depicted in his work.
